Wildcats fall to Tyrone, 4-1

TYRONE – The Wildcat tennis team closed out their regular season schedule with a 4-1 loss to the Golden Eagles.

Gavyn Walker picked up CM’s only win with a 6-4, 6-0 effort over Tyrone’s, Noah Irvin at No. 1 singles. Tyrone began their comeback when Caden Brooks got past Morgan Talbot, 6-0, 6-2 at No.2 singles while Golde Eagle Caleb Orr had to use a tiebreaker win over Wildcat Ujjval Adroja, 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 at No. 3 singles.

At No. 1 doubles, the Tyrone duo of Nick Lewis and Dean Grassi edge CM’s Brady Williams and Ethan Hall, 6-2, 4-6, 10-6. Tyrones No.2 doubles team of Kelton Raabe and Leighton Ahlert closed out the day with a 6-1, 6-2 win over the ‘Cats’ Leisher Gugino and Greg Andrews, 6-1, 6-2.

Central Mountain closes out the regular season with a 5-11 record
