CM Tennis Rolls over Shik, 4-1.

tennisBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Wildcat boys’ tennis team turned out to be ungracious host today when they handed visiting Shikellamy a 4-1 loss.

The Braves picked up their only win when Cameron Crowley edged CM’s Morgan Talbot, 7-6, 6-1 at No. 1 singles. Gavyn Walker then took over for the ‘Cats at No. 2 singles handing the Brave’s Miles Mogush a 6-4, 6-0, loss at No. 2 singles. Then Wildcat, Ujjval Adroja kept things rolling with a 6-2, 6-3 over Shik’s Micah Stahl at No. 3 singles.

Brady Williams and Jackson Walker battled back after trailing early to defeat the Shikellamy duo of Darell Lyles and Ulysses Mercado, 4-6, 6-2, 6-3 for another win at No. 1 doubles. Then at No. 2 doubles, Ethan Hall and Leisher Gugino picked up Central Mountain’s last win of the day by besting Shik’s CJ Doebler and Michael McKinney, 6-4, 6-3.

The win takes Central Mountain to 5-6 on the year, 3-4 in the PHAC.

The Wildcats will next host Milton on Tuesday, April 23, 2019.
