Renovo Girl Wins Photo Contest

The photo above was one of 10 finalists selected in the 2018 Buck Harvest Photo Contest- Rifle Category held by the Pennsylvania State Game Commission. Voting ended on January 2 and RaeAnne Isaacs took first place.

RaeAnne ,10, of Tamarack, killed her first buck in the Tamarack area. This was her first year in the woods, and with no luck on the first day of rifle season, she got right back out there the second day and dropped this 10-point monster with one shot from her .243 Mossberg rifle. He measured 20-inch inside-22 inch outside spread.

RaeAnne is the daughter of Robin and Daniel Isaacs. The prize for winning the contest is a trail camera.
