CM Powder Puff Football Game Set for Nov. 1 (Video Report)

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – It’s time for the annual fall rite of passage to be held at Malinak Stadium. On Thursday, Nov. 1 female members of the Central Mountain junior class of 2020 will take on the senior class of 2019 in the annual Central Mountain Powder Puff game.

In this fundraising event that benefits the Wildcat baseball and Lady Wildcat Softball, the guys from the CM football team serve as coaches with ladies taking to the gridiron to earn a year’s worth of bragging rights.

Many of the powder puff players are very gifted athletes in other sports and cherish the opportunity to test their skills in a new discipline.

The action will be intense. The game plans will be intricate and the touchdown celebrations dances will be epic.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. with the gates opening at 6 p.m. There will be plenty of hot and tasty refreshments for fans along with several raffles including two custom designed game balls autographed by the players and coaches.
