Ruth Ann Drake – Obituary
She was born on January 15, 1944, the daughter of the late Clayton and Helen Jozefik Drake.
Snookie attended St. Agnes School until 8th grade before attending Lock Haven High School.
She was employed as a seamstress for Bobbie Brooks, Cobblers Shoe Factory and also worked for D&B Manufacturing. She enjoyed camping and fishing. Snookie loved coming back to Pennsylvania and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Agnes Church in Lock Haven and attended St. Michael’s Church in Texas. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Heaton, two brothers, James and Gary Drake, and parents, Clayton and Helen Drake.
Snookie is survived by a daughter, Brenda Fetzer (Michael) of Lock Haven; a son, Scott Heaton (Kathy) of Texas; her companion, Wesley Gunsallus of Texas; two brothers, Robert Drake (Sharon) of Jersey Shore and Ronald Drake (Jean) of Lock Haven; a sister, Pam Bottorf (Ed) of Texas; four grandchildren, Brandi Bodle, Andy Bodle, Tiffany (Jonathan) Temple, Brandon Heaton and Erin Fetzer; two step-grandchildren, Justin and Cora Waddle; four great grandchildren, Hannah, Ryan, Blair, and Teresa; a step great grandson, Braylon; special nieces and caregivers, Trish, Tammy, Dee, and Tara; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Moriarty Funeral Home and Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, Pa 17745 with the Rev. Father Joseph Orr Officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 11 a.m until the time of the service.
