Gary S. Duff – Obituary
He was born in Williamsport on January 21, 1957, the son of George W. and Grace A. Fisher Duff, whom both survive in Lock Haven.
Gary was a 1975 graduate of Lock Haven High School and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Arts Education in 1979 from Penn State University.
On July 2, 1983, he married the former Carol A. Hockenberry, whom survives.
Gary was a wood shop teacher at Bellefonte High School for 31 years until his retirement in 2012.
He was a member of the First Church of Christ, Lock Haven.
Gary was an enthusiast of classic cars and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
In addition to his wife and parents, Gary is survived by a daughter, Laura A. Duff (Andrew) Weaver of Lock Haven; and three grandchildren, Cooper, Tyler and Abigail Weaver, all of Lock Haven.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11a.m. at the First Church of Christ, 330 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, Pa 17745.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 10a.m. until the time of the service.
Gary’s immediate family will provide flowers. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the National Ataxia Association.
