MILL HALL – The Keystone State Champion 8-10 All-Stars Wednesday evening were rewarded with a victory parade through Lock Haven and Mill Hall, then greeted by well-wishers at the Mill Hall Fire Hall.

The squad dutifully autographed baseballs as family and friends mingled about at the fire hall. Team officials were mapping plans to raise funds for the upcoming trip to the 9-10 Eastern Region Invitational in Cranston, R.I. A team spokesman said they have learned housing will not be provided for the players so funding is underway to help cover that expense.

Keystone will open play Saturday, August 4 with a first-round 10 a.m. game against the Delaware state champion. Team members and coaches are scheduled to depart Clinton County Friday morning. The tournament is an invitational, not sanctioned by Little League, and there is no advancement beyond the Eastern Region Invitational.

The Keystone 10s went 10-0 in winning district, sectional and state titles, culminating with a 7-2 win over Caln Township in the championship game in Indiana on Monday.
