Larry D. Hyzer – Obituary
Larry D. Hyzer passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. He was born April 5, 1941 in Renovo, PA. He graduated from Renovo High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1965 and served with the Bexley Police Department until his retirement in 1990.
He is survived by his loving wife Linda, his daughters Crystal (Mark) Raile of Powell, Anne (Ray) McDonald of Lexington and Laurie (Mike) Hill of Round Rock, Texas, his son-in-law John Mauritz, his sister Cheryl (Dick) Thompson of Renovo, PA as well as many grand and great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife Kathy, daughter Jennifer Hyzer Mauritz, parents Marion and Fred Hyzer, in-laws Bryl and Ella VanNorman, and Wayne and Margaret Daubenmeyer, brother Fred, son-in-law Alan Hill and grandson Andrew Hill.
He was a member of Good Sam, Winnebago and Escapee RV Clubs and Aransas Pass Texas Wood Carvers. He enjoyed gardening and working with his neighbors Tim and John on various projects.
He and his wife Linda enjoyed traveling in their RV throughout the USA attending rallies and making new friends.
At Larry’s request there will be no visitation or services.
