Monday Fire Ravages Former Art Printing Shop

PORTER TOWNSHIP – Flames gutted the former Art Printing Shop just off Route 64 between Mill Hall and Lamar Monday afternoon. Nittany Valley firemen were first on the scene and additional help was summoned as flames consumed the building to the rear of the former home of the late Art Condo who had operated a printing business there for many years.

The fire prompted a detour on Route 64 as firemen battled the flames which sent black smoke several hundred feet in the air. Firemen from Nittany Valley and other nearby companies were able to save the nearby home. No additional information was immediately available.
