Karen P. Kibler McCormick – Obituary

Karen P. Kibler McCormick, 57, of Schwenksville, Pa. passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Pottsville Hospital.

Born on January 28, 1957 in Chest Springs, Pa., she was the daughter of Ray G. and Marie R. Lynch Kibler.

Karen was a graduate of Lock Haven High School as well as Lock Haven University.

She was employed by the Graterford Prison where she served as an educator.

Karen was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Ian R. Kibler of Schwenksville; two brothers: Michael (Michelle) Kibler and Gerard (Sandra) Kibler, both of Lock Haven; and two sisters: Bonnie Dieffenbacher of Lorton, Va. and Elaine (Clyde) Fuller of Boalsburg.

Karen was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy Kibler.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Moriarty Funeral Home & Crematory, 112 E. Church St., Lock Haven, with Deacon Phil Gibson officiating. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lock Haven.
