Torrence R. “Toby” Botsford – Obituary

Torrence R. “Toby” Botsford, 63, of East Hampton, CT and a former Renovo resident died Monday, April 18, 2016 as a result of a motorcycle accident in Connecticut.
He was born April 9, 1953 in Hammersley Fork a son of the late Torrence O. and Marian L. (Stevenson) Botsford.
Toby was a self-employed professional painter for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, hiking, dancing, motorcycle riding and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was a member of the NRA and AA.
He is survived by two sisters Anna Kreps of Florida and Donna (Jim) Seltzer of Jersey Shore and two brothers Arthur (Elaine) Botsford of Muncy Valley, Donald (Claudia) Botsford of Renovo and a special cousin Donald “Donnie” (Kathryn) Stevenson who was like a “little brother” to Toby.
A brother Frances “Fran” Botsford preceded him in death and his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Community Church, 22 Larsons Lane, Renovo, PA 17764.
Rev. Mahlon Nevel will officiate.
Friends and relatives will be received from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m.
A luncheon will follow the service at Kettle Creek, Hose Company, 75 Fire House Lane, Cross Fork.
Interment will be private at New Maple Grove Cemetery, Leidy Twp.
