Lee David Geyer, 69, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Lock Haven Hospital Emergency Department.

Born on February 1, 1947 in Lock Haven, he was the son of late Louis Augustus and Anna Helen Gerety Geyer.

Lee was a 1967 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Lee was employed in the Finishing Department at the International Paper Company for 37 years.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  Lee also enjoyed animals.

Surviving is a son, Lee David (Jennifer) Geyer, Jr. of Mill Hall; two daughters, Jennifer Leigh Geyer-Bower and Anna Marie (Ronald) Young, both of Lock Haven; two brothers, Milton and Doyle Geyer, both of Mill Hall; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by 6 brothers and a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with Rev. Joan Gordon officiating.  Burial will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery, Mill Hall.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 until the time of the service.

Memorial contributions may be made in Lee’s name to Wounded Warrior Project through the funeral home.
