LOCK HAVEN — A jury was selected in Clinton County Court today in the case of a Lock Haven man charged with attempted homicide in the shooting of a housemate on West Main Street in December of 2014.

Charles Shaffer Jr. had been arrested by Lock Haven police a week after the shooting; police allege Shaffer shot Casey Farley in the abdomen during the course of an argument.

The court schedule has set aside four days, starting April 26, for the Shaffer trial. He is being represented by Centre County attorney Marc Decker, the case being prosecuted by District Attorney Dave Strouse.
