Carolyn Jane Fulger – Obituary
Carolyn Jane Fulger, 66, of Short St., Lock Haven passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Manor Care North, Williamsport.
Born on January 14, 1949 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Mary K. Muthler Simmons and the late Charles L. Simmons.
Carolyn was a 1966 graduate of Frankford High School in Philadelphia before attending Penn State University, Lock Haven University, Williamsport Area Community College, and Lycoming College.
She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Carolyn was Roman Catholic by faith.
She enjoyed music, especially gospel and bluegrass gospel. Carolyn also liked learning about history, reading, knitting, and collecting hippos. She loved dogs.
Carolyn cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her granddaughter who was her namesake.
In addition to her Mother, Mary K. Simmons of Williamsport; she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine M. and Jesse B. Davis of Lancaster; a granddaughter, Vivienne Jane Davis of Lancaster; three brothers: Charles A. Simmons of Trout Run; Thomas E. Simmons of Loganton, and Paul T. Simmons of Ledyard, CT; and a sister, Thelma L. Walters of Lock Haven.
Along with her Father, Carolyn was preceded in death by a sister-by-choice, June E. Gordon.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 3:30 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:30 P.M. until the time of the service.
