    Winning ways:
LHU enters week 10 having won two of its past three games.  The Bald Eagles defeated Cheyney on Homecoming in Week 7 and followed that up with a last-second win at Millersville in Week 8.  The Bald Eagles fell to Kutztown in a hard fought battle last week. Last week, LHU was looking for its third straight win, something the Bald Eagles haven’t done since starting the 1981 season at 4-0.

Harris rushes for 200 yards AGAIN:
Malyk Harris had another monster performance last week against Millersville.  Harris, who ran for 200 yards in his first career start two weeks ago, was at it again on Saturday.  Harris ran for 224 yards and a TD on 24 carries.  The junior has now ran for 424 yards and three TDs in the last two games and is now ranked 7th in the PSAC in rushing. His 224 yards on Saturday are the 6th most in a single game in LHU history.

    Walton having historic season:
Redshirt-junior quarterback Caleb Walton is passing his way to the top of LHU record books this season.  Walton threw for 214 yards and a TD in last week’s game against Kutztown.  The TD was Walton’s 18th of the season, tying him with Bob McLaughlin (1993) for the most in a single season in LHU history.

Walton will face a tough task as he looks to set a new passing TD mark.  Bloomsburg ranks 3rd in the PSAC in passing defense allowing 203.8 yards per game and the Huskies have allowed just 10 passing TDs all season, which is tied for 1st in the league.

    Balanced offense:
The Lock Haven offense has been exceptionally balanced the last few weeks.  Despite an up-tempo attack usually associated with a pass-first offense, the Bald Eagles have run the ball with force over the last few weeks.  LHU is now 7th in the PSAC in rushing, averaging 177.0 yards per game and the Bald Eagles are tied for 3rd at 5.3 yards per carry on the year.

    Points on the board:
Lock Haven’s 56 points scored in the Week 7 (October 17) win over Cheney mark Lock Haven’s most points scored in game since LHU beat Edinboro, 56-21 in 1968.

  • LHU scored 59 points in 1947 (Won, 59-0 vs. Alliance).
  • LHU scored 65 points in 1931 (Won, 65-0 vs. Kutztown).

30 or more:
The 2015 season marks the first time LHU has scored 30+ points in four games during a season since the Bald Eagles did it in 1979. Lock Haven went 9-2 (6-0 PSAC West) in 1979 on the way to the PSAC title. LHU scored 30 or more points five times, all wins during that ’79 season.
