George B. Reidell, III – Obituary
He was born on November 3, 1939 in Salladasburg to the late George B. and Florence (Flook) Reidell.
On July 5, 1980, he married the former Betty Masorti, who survives. They just celebrated 35 years of marriage.
George worked for Jersey Shore Steel for 44 years.
He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, Lock Haven.
He was also a member of the Castanea Fire Co. Social Club, the Lock Haven Moose, the Son’s of Italy and a life member of the N.R.A.
He was a well known NASCAR and John Wayne (Duke) Western fan. George also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three children, Kelly Hasting of Dover, DE, Michael (Robin) Reidell of Avis, and Kathy (Steve) Koch of Jersey Shore; three step-children, Lewis Rishel of Hollywood, FL, Marie Miller of Loganton, and Kathy Rishel of Pine Forge; four grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Sally Myers of Pleasant Gap, twin sisters Helen Forster of Lewisburg and Mary Howell of Huntersville, NC, and Nadine Kinley of Williamsport; and a brother, James Reidell of Coal Township.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745 with Deacon Chip Young officiating.
Friends and family will be received on Monday from 12 noon until the time of the service.
Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
