Kenneth W. Wilson – Obituary
He was born in Hawk Run, Pa on May 15, 1932, the son of the late Ephraim and Ellen Warner Wilson.
On August 8, 1959 in Winchester, VA, Ken married Blanche Cagle Verne Wilson, who preceded him death on March 10, 2002.
Ken was employed at Haven Homes in Beech Creek for over 10 years before his retirement in the early 1990’s.
He was a life member of the Castanea Fire Company.
Ken enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping, hunting, fishing and doing carpentry work.
He is survived by a son, Joseph (Sherri) Wilson of Castanea; and three step-sons, Larry and Michael (Sarah) Verne, both of Castanea, and Nicholas (Kimberly) Verne of Lock Haven; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park with Pastor Dennis Callahan officiating.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, Pa 17745.
