LHU Volleyball completes weekend at Hall of Fame City Challenge

NORTH CANTON, Ohio – The Lock Haven volleyball team finished the first weekend of the 2025 season at the Hall of Fame City Challenge on the campus of Walsh University on Saturday afternoon (Sept. 6). The Bald Eagles fell to Lake Erie 3-1 (25-17, 24-26, 23-25, 23-25).

The Bald Eagles (0-3 overall) had a strong start to the match, winning the first set 25-17.

The Haven then narrowly lost its next three sets with scores of (24-26, 23-25, 23-25).

Reagan Irons led the Lock Haven offense with nine kills and six aces.

Avery Smith and Jordan Carter added nine kills.

Gabby Gealey notched 35 assists and Natalie Acevedo held down the defense with 15 digs.

Lock Haven will travel to West Virginia Wesleyan for the WVWC Tournament in Buckhannon, W.Va. on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12 & 13.
