Obituary – Grace B. O’Donnell

, age 104, passed away at the Heartland Personal Care Home in Woolrich, PA. She was born in Lamar Township on September 6, 1920, to the late Charles and Alvina Brungard. On May 15, 1942, she married Robert O’Donnell, and they had over 50 years of a fabulous and fun-filled marriage.

Grace was a 1938 graduate of Mill Hall High School and was a member of the Mill Hall Presbyterian Church. She had been employed at Piper Aircraft where she was Mr. Piper’s Executive Secretary, retiring after Piper transferred to Florida. She was a devoted Piper Aircraft employee.

Grace and her husband Robert enjoyed Dancing and spending fun times with their many friends. Grace always enjoyed spending special occasions with her family, especially her many nephews and nieces. She spent many happy hours working at the Piper Fly-In’s activities and made many long-time friends from around the States. Grace loved her two cats, Susie and Miss Kitty who she called her babies.

Grace is survived by a niece, Donna Yoxheimer and a nephew Larry Glenn. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ralph, Boyd, Ernest and Pete Brungard and two sisters, Irene Mann and Thora Glenn Schreck.

Funeral Services for Grace B. O’Donnell will be held on Friday Jan. 31, 2025, at 12:00 PM in the Gedon Funeral Home, 320 Main Street, Mill Hall PA. Officiating will be Pastor Susan Champion of the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
