Wildcats to Host Shikellamy in State Duals 1st Round

MILL HALL – The District 6 Class AAA champions Central Mountain Wildcats (13-0) will host fellow Heartland Conference and District 4 AAA champion Shikellamy Braves (15-5) in the PIAA State Duals first round on Tuesday night at the Central Mountain gym at 7p.m. Ticket sales will be online on the PIAA website and are expected to be up sometime Sunday night. The Wildcats defeated the Braves by a narrow 35-30 score back in December. 

The winner of their dual meet will advance to the state championship quarterfinals on Friday evening to face the winner of the dual meet between District 1 AAA champion Boyertown Bears (21-2) and the Chambersburg Trojans (15-4), who were the District 3 AAA runner-ups. 

The PIAA Class AA & AA State Team Duals Championships will be held Friday and Saturday at the Altoona High School Field House.
