CM Swim Teams Secure Senior Night Victories
LOCK HAVEN-The Central Mountain Boys and Girls Swim Teams celebrated senior night on Friday in front of a packed crowd. Seniors Camryn Bair & Abrianna Hosley were recognized for their commitment and dedication to the sport of swimming over the last 13-14 years. Bair will continue her swimming career at West Virginia University next year while studying Exercie Physiology. Hosley will attend Washington and Jefferson College where she will continue her swimming career and pursue a degree in science and engineering. Bair & Hosley led the team to a dominating 105 – 63 win over visiting Central Columbia. The Lady Wildcats won all 3 relays contested. Individual winners for the Lady Wildcats were Bair in the 200 IM & 100 Free, G. Hosley in the 100 Fly & 100 Breaststroke, and A. Hosley in the 500 Free & 100 Back. The Lady Wildcats are now 5-1 and will travel to Jersey Shore on Tuesday for a double dual meet starting at 4:30.
The Boys Swim Team dominated the Central Columbia BlueJays on Friday night 105 – 64. It was a very special night for the Wildcats as they recognized their 5 senior boys (Jonathan Hughes, Owen Wunder, Bryce Warren, Cory Matejovich, Carter Perry) for their commitment and dedication to the sport of swimming. The seniors have a combined 35 years of swimming experience between the 5 of them.
The Wildcats got the evening started with a 1-2 finish in the 200 Medley Relay. They would also finish 1-2 in the 200 Free Relay later on in the meet. Individual winners for the Wildcats were Hughes in the 200 Free & 100 Breaststroke, Swift in the 200 IM, Kaluzny in the 100 Free, and Wunder in the 100 Back. The Wildcat Boys are now 5-1 and will travel to Jersey Shore on Tuesday for a double dual meet starting at 4:30.
