LOCK HAVEN— Downtown Lock Haven welcomed the addition of a newly remodeled commercial building this Friday as the Clinton County Economic Partnership and Century 21 1st Choice Realty hosted a soft opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate a new beginning at the Triangle Park Building. Located at 25 W. Main Street, adjacent to the U.S. Post Office and across from Triangle Park, this historic 1920s-era building is set to become a cornerstone of local commerce and community activity.

The event, held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, marked a significant milestone for downtown revitalization efforts, drawing local business owners, community leaders, and prospective commercial renters. Rachel Killinger, a realtor for 1st Choice Realty, spearheaded the coordination of the soft opening. “Come see the new Triangle Park Building right beside the Post Office and, of course, across from Triangle Park! View the newly remodeled commercial space and plans for future rental spaces. Leasing by 1st Choice Realty 570-398-0690,” she announced in a Facebook post that invited the community to join the ceremony.

The Triangle Park Building, owned by Pat and Christine Liska, who moved to Lock Haven in 2013, is a testament to their continued investment in the city. Originally purchasing their first property for their daughter, who attended Commonwealth University-Lock Haven, the Liskas have since expanded their portfolio to include nine residential buildings in Lock Haven and now the Triangle Park Building.

The newly remodeled structure features several commercial units spread across three floors with the potential for diverse usage. From boutiques, salons, and daycare centers to restaurants and activity spaces, Killinger outlined a range of possibilities during the event. The building also boasts an outdoor rooftop area suitable for commercial venue use and will soon include an elevator and ramp to ensure full handicap accessibility. Pat Liska, dedicated to ensuring security and ease of access for future tenants, is collaborating with Keystone Security to install keyless coded-entry systems and video surveillance.

A particularly exciting development mentioned at the ceremony is the plan to set up a camera for livestreaming events taking place at Triangle Park, an added benefit to the building’s strategic location.

“He’s definitely investing in Lock Haven,” Killinger said, acknowledging Pat Liska’s commitment to urban renewal. “Every unit he does is remodeled.”

The Triangle Park Building stands as a beacon of progress and community spirit, blending historic charm with modern amenities. As businesses begin to fill the renovated spaces, the building promises to be a dynamic hub of activity, breathing new life into Downtown Lock Haven.
