Lady Wildcat Volleyball Downs Lady Rams
PENNS VALLEY-The Central Mountain girls volleyball team kicked off their 2024 season with an impressive 3-1 victory over a solid Penns Valley program.
The Lady Wildcats came out strong, dominating the first set with a 25-15 win. However, the Lady Rams responded in the second set, going on a late run to claim a 25-20 victory, tying the match at one set apiece. Central Mountain regrouped and took control of the next two sets, winning decisively 25-12 and 25-6 to close out the match.
Central Mountain will be back in action Tuesday, August 27th, at Central Mountain Middle School as they host DuBois. The Wildcat JV team, which fell to Penns Valley 2-0, will also face off against the Lady Beavers. JV action begins at 6 PM, with the varsity match to follow.
