Arts Council holding 3rd Annual ‘Camp Create’ for kids

By Christopher Miller

LOCK HAVEN – Happening during the morning hours of the week of August 5, Camp Create is a children’s art camp geared toward displaying the world of art to youth.

“Children will learn about art from around the world,” Arts Council Board Member and volunteer Rich Wykoff said. “We want to grow awareness of art in its many forms to the children of Clinton County.”

By growing the awareness of what the Station Gallery does, children will be able to learn about the different activities held there such as the monthly gallery openings which are free and open to the public, and the benefits of becoming a member of the Arts Council, like the ability to display their own art at numerous “members only” art show events throughout the year.

Camp Create is running August 5 – 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
