Death Under Investigation by State Police

WOODWARD TOWNSHIP — State police are continuing their investigation into the death of Heather Merrill, 30, of Lock Haven. A written report from state police detective Curtis Confer said Merrill’s body was located in this house at 185 Linridge Drive, just off Brewery Hollow Road. Courthouse records list the home as owned by Raymond E. Nestlerode III. An autopsy on Merrill was conducted early last week, the initial findings reported inconclusive. The police report listed the “date/time” of the incident as Sunday, March 1 between the hours of 5:45 a.m. and 1 p.m.
