Hyner Run Road Detour

DCNR Tree Removal Begins Monday

pdot2RENOVO – A road closure will begin Monday, March 16 on a section of Hyner Run Road (Route 1014) and a detour will be in place. The road will be closed between the intersection of Hyner Run State Park and Pat’s Ridge Road.

The Pennsylvania Transportation Department said the closure is necessary so that DCNR-directed tree removal work can take place. The tree removal work is expected to last until mid-May.

PennDOT’s official detour is lengthy and will direct motorists to use Routes 44, 144, and 120. The detour will take drivers through parts of Clinton, Lycoming, and Potter counties. Motorists familiar with the area may choose to use alternate routes.

Message boards and detour signing will be in place. Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, follow official detour signs, and always buckle up.
