North Bend Farm Life 4-H Club: Rabbits, Easter Cards, and Fun-filled Learning
The North Bend Farm Life 4-H Club recently had a meeting where they welcomed special guests Abigail and Kaleb George from the Barnyard Buddies 4-H Club. They have shown rabbits for two years through 4-H and shared valuable insights into the care, exhibition, and proper handling of rabbits.
The session was not just informative but hands-on as well. The Farm Life 4-H kids had the exciting opportunity to interact with the rabbits, petting and feeding them under the guidance of Abigail and Kaleb who shared their passion for raising these furry friends as part of their animal projects.
In a heartwarming gesture, the 4-H club members also dedicated their time to create beautiful Easter cards. These handmade cards were crafted with care and intended to bring joy to the residents of the Bucktail Nursing Home to lift their spirits and show them the community cares. It’s a testament to the club’s commitment to community service and spreading positivity.
To conclude the meeting on a high note, the young members enjoyed the vibrant glow of glow sticks in the dark, adding fun to the gathering. The North Bend Farm Life 4-H Club prides itself on its hands-on learning approach, dedication to community service, sharing knowledge and, last but not least….having fun!
The club continues to be an inspirational force for young minds, fostering a love for agriculture, animals, and the spirit of giving back.
