“The Fashionable Wardrobe” Luncheon planned for February 28

LOCK HAVEN – On Wednesday, February 28, 2024 The Lock Haven Christian Women’s Connection will enjoy their “Fashionable Wardrobe” Luncheon. The program will be held at the Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal Street, Allison Township. There is always good food, lots of fun and music, and gifted speakers that help inform and inspire ladies to make a most memorable day.

The theme of February’s lunch is ”The Fashionable Wardrobe ”. The Feature of the program will be a runway of colorful modeled fashions from Momoyo Otsu of downtown Lock Haven. Ladies who attend are asked to wear the “loudest” outfit in their closest. “Loudest” depends on personal interpretation, but organizers are leaning towards loud in color. The lady with the “loudest” outfit will receive a gift certificate.

The special music guest for “The Fashionable Wardrobe” Luncheon is popular area vocalist Elaine Barth.
The speaker for the day is Elva Cornell from Wellsville, New York. Cornell is a cancer survivor and speaks about being “Born Before The Word Dysfunctional”.

The program begins at 11:50 a.m. The cost of $15.00 per person includes lunch, entertainment, inspirational speaker and free parking. All area women are invited. The location allows for on-site childcare for young mothers. Nursery reservations must be made at the time that luncheon reservations are made. Mothers are asked to bring a lunch or snack for the child.
