Central Mountain Boys Swimming Picks Up Two Wins

BELLEFONTE-The Central Mountain boys swim team picked up 2 wins last night and improved their record to 5-2.  The Wildcats beat Bellefonte 84-55 and Penns Valley 98-42.

Raiden Newcomer picked up wins in the 50 Free & 500 Free.  Jonathan Hughes beat Isaiah Johnson to the wall to secure the victory in the 100 Breaststroke. The 400 Free Relay team of Cory Matejovich, Owen Wunder, Colby Bakaj, and Rhys Swift capped the night off with a win for the Wildcats.

Seven Central Mountain swimmers swam personal best times on Tuesday evening.  Picking up PR’s were Colby Bakaj in the 100 Free , Neil Kaluzny in the 100 Free, Cory Matejovich in the 100 Back, Raiden Newcomer in the 50 Free & 500 Free, Rhys Swift in the 200 IM, Bryce Warren in the 100 Breststroke, and Owen Wunder in the 500 Free & 200 IM.

The Wildcats are on the road again on Friday.  They will head to the East Lycoming YMCA where they will take on Milton.
