LHU’s Harward earns Men’s Basketball PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week
LOCK HAVEN– For the third straight week, a Lock Haven men’s basketball player has earned a conference weekly honor after Dyson Harward (Danville, Pa./Danville) was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men’s Basketball Eastern Division Defensive Athlete of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon (Dec. 11).
Lock Haven men’s basketball has brought home every PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week awarded this season.
Harward follows in the footsteps of teammate and Bald Eagle point guard Justice Shoats, who brought home the award the first two weeks of the season.
Harward led the Bald Eagles on Saturday at Wilmington, Del. with a monster 19-point, 16-rebound double-double, both career highs with Lock Haven.
The graduate student added two blocks and a steal on his career day with the Bald Eagles.
The Haven (3-4, 1-1 PSAC) have the week off and will return to action on Monday (Dec. 18) when it travels to Seton Hill (Pa.) for a 7:30 p.m. PSAC contest.
