Obituary – Judith Ann Williams

It is with our deepest sorrow to announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and best friend, Judith Ann Williams, age 72, of Renovo, Pennsylvania on November 30, 2023. Born February 14, 1951, to the late Robert and Virginia (Kidwell) Williams.

Judy grew old sharing her cherished memories of growing up with her four siblings, Bobby Williams, Randy Williams, Ginger (Williams) Smith, and Nancy (Williams) Schwaiger who will all precede her in death.

All of Judy’s life blessings began with her three sons: Scott (Dori) Hand, Micheal (Brenda) Hand, and Bobby (Ally) Hand. Aside from her role as a mother, Judy was a proud grandmother to Amber Frankenburger, Dylan Hand, Damian (Cheyenne) Hand, Katelyn Hand, Cody Hand, Addy Hand, and great grandmother to Marka Peterson and Bristol Hand.

Judy prided herself as the first woman truck driver for Halls Motor Transit Company in her earlier years of employment history. After hanging up her career in the transportation industry, Judy moved on to enjoy her time at home as a babysitter for local working parents. In her last working years, you could find Judy at the Kettle Creek Inn of Westport, Pa. Many people will remember her for her bubbly personality in the dining room, as she grew to love the patrons she got to know while working proudly at her son’s restaurant.

In her leisure time, she loved to work in her yard and flower bed, watch cowboy westerns, and spend time with her family who she loved so dearly. In her younger days, she also enjoyed shooting darts for the Son’s of Italy of Renovo.

She will be welcomed into Heaven with arms wide open by her parents, siblings, and son, Micheal Hand. As she moves onto eternal life, she leaves behind many hearts filled with her love, laughter, and everlasting memories.

All that knew Judy, knew that she lived her life giving anything she had to anyone in need. One of her favorite ways to give back to the community was donating blood to all the local blood drives run by the Bucktail Interact Club. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the American Red Cross in her memory.

A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory Inc., 637 South Main Street, Mansfield, PA is assisting the family. www.buckheitfcandcrematory.com
