Renovo Area Community Choir Delights with Holiday Cheer
RENOVO, PA-Festive songs, fun surprises and talented solo performances brought smiling faces and standing ovation to the annual Renovo Area Community Choirs annual Christmas Concert themed “Winter’s Song”. The concert held on Sunday afternoon. The concert was directed by Patricia Lacy and accompanied by Brandon Kahley.
Covering all genres and emotions, the choir’s performances never disappoint as residents fill the United 7th Street Church each year to enjoy the top rate talent at the free event.
As typical the choir itself has audience members singing and swaying along to the music as the choir covers just about every type of Christmas song that there is.
As a bonus special appearances have become a staple of the show as some of wintertime’s favorite characters always find their way into the show.
After a visit from Frosty, Yukon Cornelius passed out fluffy snowballs to youngsters in the audience and a later visit from the Abominable Snowman prompted the kids to pelt the snowman with their snowballs, chasing him away before he could ruin the show.
