CM volleyball opens district play at Altoona on 10/31

ALTOONA, PA – The District 6 volleyball pairings have been announced and Central Mountain is seeded number three. The Lady Wildcats (8-5) will open play in a semifinal contest on Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 7 p.m. at number two seed Altoona (8-7).

The two squads met once in the regular season, the Lady Mountain Lions coming out on top, 3-0. The other semifinal will see top-seed Mifflin County (12-5) host number four seed State College (5-8), also next Tuesday.

The semifinal winners will meet on Thursday, Nov. 2 for the District 6 Class 4A title.
