Bucktail Holds Open House
FARWELL, PA – Bucktail Area High School held an open house Wednesday evening where parents were invited to tour the school and speak with teachers.
Afterwards, the school held a pep-rally style event in the gymnasium that brought laughs and competition by all students, faculty and parents. Some of the events pitted the students against their parents and even teachers including rousing contests of musical chairs, tug of war and bunny hop rock paper scissors. The parents flexed their muscles, edging out their kids in both tug of war match-ups.
A musical chairs event saw bodies hitting the floor and eventually a tie was called as brother/sister Brett and Matti Mason were the last two standing but neither one would allow their sibling to win. A nighttime dunk event was also set up where students were able to dunk some of their favorite teachers and Principal Jimmy Poleto.
