Mill Hall area man charged with strangulation

PORTER TOWNSHIP, PA – Lamar state police say a Mil Hall man is in the Clinton County Correctional Facility in default of $45,000 bail, charged with the strangulation of a 37-year-old Mill Hall woman.

Police said the incident occurred on Stryker Lane in Porter Township during daylight hours on Sept. 1. Their report said they responded to a domestic disturbance in progress and determined the actor, age 38, had threatened multiple times to kill the victim and threatened her with an 8-pound splitting maul before smashing out numerous car windows; police allege the accused also strangled the victim several days prior.

The accused’s identity was not part of the report.
