Two people hurt in I-80 Thursday crash
GREENE TOWNSHIP, PA – Lamar state police say two people were hurt when their vehicle left Interstate 80 and hit the guide rail Thursday morning.
Police said Alejandro Perez, 25, from San Pedro Pochutla, Mexico was westbound on I-80 in Greene Township and swerved from the left lane, crossed the right lane, striking the guide rail before coming to a rest.
The police report said Perez suffered a minor injury and was transported to UPMC Lock Haven for treatment. A passenger, Argenis Maya, 20, from San Pedro Pochulta, Mexico suffered a suspected serious injury and was transported to Geisinger.
The vehicle involved was a 2007 Honda Pilot.
