Obituary – Jane Ann Klinefelter Snyder
Jane Ann Klinefelter Snyder, 90, of Tylersville, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore.
Born December 3, 1932 in Tylersville, she was a daughter of the late Alvin John and Faye Moyer Klinefelter.
Jane was a 1951 graduate of Sugar Valley High School.
On July 8, 1957, at Tylersville United Church of Christ, she married her love, Perry E. Snyder, with whom she shared 58 years of marriage before his passing in 2015.
Jane was devoted to her faith and attended Faith Alive Fellowship, Spring Mills.
She enjoyed sewing and quilting and was an avid reader. Beyond all, Jane loved and cared for her family and cherished the time she spent with them – especially her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.
Surviving are her children: Darla J. Beschler of Tylersville, Mark E. (Jill Shoemaker) Snyder of Lock Haven, Matthew G. (Margaret) Snyder of Tylersville and Zee Ann (Bryan) Boone of Eastville; her sister, Nancy Shutt of Tylersville; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren, with one expected.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen A. Snyder.
A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of her family. Interment will be at Eastville Cemetery.
