Keystone 11s lose state opener, 10-0
WEST CHESTER, PA – It was a tough opener for the Keystone 11-year-old all-stars at the state Little League championships in West Chester on Saturday. Abington Little League scored in every inning on the way to a four-inning, 10-0 win.
Keystone was held to three hits, a double from Chase Karstetter and singles from Ehan Nestor and Brad Brungard. Four Keystone pitchers shared mound duties for coach Tony Miller’s team.
The loss put Keystone into a first-round elimination game at noon on Sunday, the opponent Section 2 champion West Point.
