New Keystone/Clinton Little League All-Star seasons getting underway

BEECH CREEK, PA – Little League All-Star play, with a Clinton County history dating back to just after World War II, is about to dominate the local sports pages as Keystone baseball and Clinton softball teams are taking to the fields of play throughout the region.

The squad that historically draws the most interest is the Keystone 12 -year-old team, the age group which seeks to advance to the Little League World Series (as the Keystone team of 2011 did). The 12s have also been the most successful within District 12, earning 11 district crowns since claiming their first in 2003.

The 12s are coming off a successful 2022 season when they were 11-years-olds. The bulk of last year’s squad makes up this season’s age 12 roster. That team won district and sectional titles a year ago and placed at the state tournament in their age division.

The 12s’ first game will be Monday, June 26 at Montoursville, game time 5:45 p.m.

The Keystone openers:

Age 10 – Monday, July 3 vs East Lycoming at Williamsport
