Obituary
William W. Hepner, 78, of Cooks Run went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
He was born February 9, 1945 in Renovo to the late William and Marguerite (Raymond) Hepner.
Bill lived all his life in his family’s homestead in Cooks Run. He enjoyed sitting on his porch watching the local wildlife. He also was fond of fishing and going to Brenda’s in Westport to eat.
Bill was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He retired from Dominion Energy in 2007 after 16 years.
Bill had many friends and loved when they stopped by to visit and have a cold “beverage.”
He is survived by his companion of 51 years, Audrey Patterson and his little dog Toby. In addition to her, he is survived by two sisters; Judy Regis of Hamburg, NY and Winnie Pentz of Howard and a half-brother Bernard (Shirley) Gaines of Cooks Run and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Richard Hepner.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo with the Rev. Mahlon Nevel officiating.
Friends and relatives will be received one-hour prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
