Obituary
James Ralph Moore, 71, of Mill Hall, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
Born August 17, 1951 in Lock Haven, Jim was the son of the late John and Janet Allen Moore.
He was a 1969 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School and pursued a degree in Business from Williamsport Area Community College.
Along with his father, Jim owned and operated the Red Eye Sports Center and J.R. Moore Trucking. He retired as a Trucking Supervisor for Key Energy.
On February 26, 1972 at the Mill Hall Church of Christ, Jim married the love of his life, the former Deborah J. Condo, who survives in Mill Hall.
Jim attended Cedar Heights Brethren in Christ Church. He had a passion for cruising in his Corvette, or on his Harley motorcycle, and enjoyed attending the Mecum Car Auctions. He was a devoted sports fan – especially of wrestling and volleyball – and a fan of all Penn State University sports teams. Jim loved spending his time outdoors, which included his time at his river lot on his boat or jet ski, at horse riding competitions with his granddaughter, Emilee, diving for treasure with his grandchildren, Colton and Brooklyn and playing dinosaurs with his grandson, Brucie.
In addition to his loving wife, Deb, Jim is survived by three sons, Mike (Adina) Moore of Mill Hall, Dave (Sarah) Moore of Rote, and Steve (Heather) Moore of Howard; a daughter, Dawn (Harlan) Dickey of Mill Hall; a sister, Cindy (Karl) Walizer of Mill Hall; eight grandchildren; and was blessed with several brother and sister-in-law’s, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Moore; and a grandson, Ty Moore.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 7 P.M. at Cedar Heights Brethren in Christ Church, 37 Cedar Heights, Mill Hall, PA 17751 with Rev. Scott Garman officiating.
Friends and family will be received at the church on Wednesday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Heights Brethren in Christ Church.
