Obituary

Lenore Beverly Pringle, 84, of Tamarack, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at her home.

Born July 3, 1938 in Lock Haven, she was a daughter of the late John David and Rosanna Effie (Thomas) Shope.

Lenore graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1956.

On October 12, 1956 at Salona United Methodist Church, she married her high school sweetheart, W. John Pringle, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage before his passing in 2010.

Lenore was last employed by the Weis Market, Renovo, for 16 years, retiring in 2001. Prior to retirement, she worked at a silk mill in York, PA, served briefly as the Secretary of Allison Township, worked at Piper Aircraft, and at Kettle Creek State Park.

Surviving are her children: David J. Pringle of Mill Hall, PA, Beverly Pringle of Tamarack, PA, John W. (Lisa) Pringle of State College, PA, and Daniel E. (Laurie) Pringle of South Haven, MI; her grandchildren: Leah (Jared) Wheeler, Emily Pringle, Elizabeth Pringle, Sarah (Aung) Khaing; and a great granddaughter, Bryleigh Rose Khaing.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at 2 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Pastor Frank Hartzel officiating.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 4 P.M. and again on Sunday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.

Private interment will take place at Sunnyside Cemetery, Mill Hall.

On May 20, 2023 from 12 to 2 P.M., a Celebration of Lenore’s Life held will be held at the Kettle Creek Fire Company, 75 Fire House Lane, Cross Fork, PA 17729.

Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or Clinton County SPCA.
