John J. “Jack” Nolan, Jr., 81, of Farwell passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport.
Born June 10, 1941 in Upper Darby, PA he was a son of the late John J. Nolan, Sr. and Jean (Kenny) Nolan.
Jack was married to the former Ruth E. Goodman on August 4, 1990. They celebrated 32 years of marriage together.
He worked for General Electric in Phila., for 37 years retiring in 1991.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Jack was a member of the NRA.
Surviving are his loving wife; one son; Ken (Kate) Goodman of Bellefonte and two daughters; Robyn (John) Maxwell-Stewart of Duncannon and Mary Jo (Donnie) Gentzyel, II of North Bend.
Seven grandchildren, Bethany, Donnie, Tyler, Ryan, Morgan, Owen and Sarah and a great grandson Kaden.
He is survived by a brother, Michael Nolan and two sisters Roe Mihalik and Patty Poole and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jack was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeanne and Mary Lou.
Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
