Wildcat track teams battle ‘Shore on Senior Night
MILL HALL, PA – It was Senior Night for the Central Mountain track squads on Tuesday and rival Jersey Shore the foe. The girls’ side of things Central Mountain ended up winning 75-71, while the Bulldog boys came out on top, 97-53.
Rachel Hall and Lily Hendricks paced the girls. Hall won the 100 meters, 200 meters, pole vault and was part of the winning 4×100 relay team. Hendricks took the long and triple jumps and was also a part of the 4×100 relay team. Abbey Wolfe claimed two first places, the 1600 and 3200 meters. Sarah Hall claimed first in the 100-meter hurdles and was also part of the winning 4×100 relay team. Vivian Wilt took first in the 300-meter hurdles.
The Wildcat boys were led by Garrison Lucas, bringing home first place in the 100 and 200 meters. Other firsts were recorded by Damien Winner in the3200, Hunter Hoy in the high jump, Logan Dawes in the shotput and the 4×100 relay team.
Next up for coach Ellie Sikorska’s squads is the Lock Haven University High School Classic on Saturday.
