Obituary
Sam Brooks, 72, of Leidy Twp,Clinton County, passed on to glory on April 13, 2023 at the Bucktail Medical Center, where he had been a resident for the past 11 years. Sam was born March 2, 1951 to the late Harold, Sr and Dorothy Green Brooks.
Sam was a graduate of Bucktail Area High School in the class of 1969 and had attended every class reunion for the past 50 years. Sam was one of five classmates to have that honor.
Sam was a self-employed entrepreneur; selling Avon, Raleigh products, Cheerful House greeting cards and a live bait stand at his home on the Kettle Creek near the Kettle Creek State Park. Sam attended the Hammersley Fork Assembly of God church along with his brother Danny.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Harold Jr and Danny and his baby sister Angelina.
Memorial services will be held at the Bucktail Medical Center on April 27, 2023 at 6 PM with his classmate Martha Sykes officiating.
