Lock Haven police arrest Philadelphia teenager after vehicle pursuit

LOCK HAVEN, PA – City police say Kasan Johnson-Townsend, 19, of Philadelphia has been charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, recklessly endangering another person, DUI, underage drinking, and other related offenses, the result of an incident earlier in February..

On Feb. 5 at approximately 12:30 a.m., police said, Johnson-Townsend led officers on a short pursuit through Lock Haven after officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop for a stop sign violation. Police said Johnson-Townsend placed pedestrians in danger as well as his passengers while attempting to evade police and Johnson-Townsend was also under the influence of alcohol during this incident.
