Rolley named Outreach Coordinator for Clinton County Community Foundation

LOCK HAVEN, PA- The Clinton County Community Foundation has announced that Robert ‘Bob’ Rolley Jr. will serve as its new, part-time outreach coordinator.

As coordinator, Rolley will work to promote the nonprofit Foundation’s mission, oversee charitable grants from funds established by donors, provide outreach to grant recipients, work to grow the foundation’s assets and capacity, build community and individual relationships, and manage its web site at www.clintoncountyfoundation.org and social media pages and channels.

Rolley also will serve as a public speaker and public relations representative for the Foundation by providing informational presentations to civic groups, community and professional organizations.
The Foundation also released its new telephone number at 570-220-1038.
Rolley can be reached at that number or by email at cccf@clintoncountyfoundation.org.

The announcement came during the Foundation’s annual meeting on Wednesday, when it also announced the distribution of thousands of dollars in grants to dozens of recipients.

“I am very excited to work with the Foundation. The Foundation is a critical resource for funding to many nonprofits, charities, municipalities and more, especially during these challenging times for this rural county,” Rolley said.

The Foundation’s motto is, ‘We give because you give’ and that is so true and important to the nonprofit’s mission and purpose, as well as to the well being of our communities,” he added.

Foundation board President Alan Lugg Jr. said the board “Looks forward to having Mr. Rolley promote and educate Clinton County on the good the Foundation does. He brings professionalism and experience that will help the Foundation moving forward.”

Because of the numerous donors, volunteers and future-thinking professionals in Clinton County, the Foundation was created in 1968, Lugg noted.

The appointment comes amid Rolley’s transition in his role as publisher of both the The (Lock Haven) Express and Williamsport Sun-Gazette community newspapers. Rolley will continue as newspaper publisher but is planning to retire from day-to-day responsibilities later this year.
