CM swimmers busy at Bucknell
LEWISBURG, PA – The Central Mountain girls swim team was back in action Friday night in a Quad Meet at Bucknell University. The Wildcat girls finished the night with a 2-1 record. The girls defeated Mifflinburg 111-8 and Central Columbia 90-79 but slost to host Lewisburg 92-77. Both Lewisburg and Central Columbia had two divers each which added 10 total team points for each team. CM got wins from Camryn Bair in the 50 Freestyle and the 100 Breaststroke, Autumn Garman in the 100 Backstroke, and the 400 Freestyle Relay of Lily McWilliams, Jocelyn Sproat, Elizabeth Nestor, and Maia Crowell. The girls next meet is on Thursday at LHU against Danville starting at 6 p.m.
The Central Mountain boys swim team was also back in action Friday night at the same event at Bucknell University. The Wildcats finished the night with a 1-2 record. The boys defeated Mifflinburg 79-20, but lost to Central Columbia 101-52 and host Lewisburg 98-50. Both Lewisburg and Central Columbia had one diver each which added 6 total team points for each team. The boys/ only win on the night came from Jonathan Hughes. Hughes swam to the victory in the 200 IM. The boys next meet is on Thursday at LHU against Danville starting at 6 p.m.
