Bair snares two firsts in first CM girls’ swim meet

BLOOMSBURG, PA – The Central Mountain girls swim team opened their season at the Bluejay 1st Chance Invitational held on the campus of Bloomsburg University. The team had eight girls competing in Saturday’s invitational.

Overall, the team had a solid performance by all of the swimmers with three girls finishing in the top eight8 of their events. Sophomore Camryn Bair led the way for the Wildcats as she captured 1st place in the 50 Free and the 100 Free. Sophomore Abrianna Hosley finished 3rd in the 500 Free and junior Ana Persun finished 6th in the 100 Fly. The 200 Medley Relay and 200 Free Relay of Camryn Bair, Autumn Garman, Abrianna Hosley, and Ana Persun finished 4th in both relays.

Five Wildcats had District qualifing times from the invitational. District qualifiers are Camryn Bair (50 Free & 100 Free), freshmen Lily McWilliams (50 Free), Ana Persun (100 Fly), senior Autumn Garman (100 Free & 100 Back), and Abrianna Hosley (500 Free & 100 Back).
