Celebrate Halloween in Downtown Lock Haven

LOCK HAVEN, PA – With Halloween less than a week away, Downtown Lock Haven is the place to be this weekend to get into the “spirit” of the holiday.
The festivities kick off Saturday morning with the annual Halloween Parade downtown at 10 AM. Immediately after the parade join in on the fun with the Shop-or-Treat where participating businesses will be handing out candy throughout the morning and early afternoon.
Also happening in the area is a Trunk-or-Treat at Big Woods Church at 1 PM, and from 4 PM to 6 PM the Lock Haven University Early Childhood Education Club will be inviting children of all ages from all areas to their event free of charge along Ivy Lane on the LHU campus. There will be activities, candy, and a bake sale to fundraise for future events.
On Saturday evening, a Halloween walk-through event will be taking place at Triangle Park on the 29th and 30th. Lou Bernard of the Ross Library will be conducting his Lock Haven Haunted Tours at 7 PM and 11 PM for $5/person meeting at the Ross Library.
On Sunday, October 30 at 2 PM the S.T.H.C. Horrorthon will be taking place at Nerd Haven featuring Psycho Sideshow Art, Tarot readings by Madame Zora, candy, a costume contest and giveaways. Nerd Haven store, vendors and events will be taking place at 2 PM and the Punk Rock Show is at 5 PM with doors opening at 4 PM. There will also be a clothing drive for coats, socks, or anything you can give.
